A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Course will be held at Moor House on Sunday 24th January 2010 from 9.00am till 4.30pm, the instructor will once again be Mr Simon Temperton a food hygiene Advisor/Lecturer and Scout Leader from Cheshire. The course lasts approximately 7.5 hours including a short written examination at the end. Successful candidates gain a nationally recognised “Basic Food Hygiene Certificate” from the “Chartered Institute of Environmental Health”. The course fees are £32.50p per head (£40 for non Durham Scouts) this includes your course registration, literature, certificate, refreshments and lunch. The certificate lasts three years and those of you who took part in the 2007 course will need to renew their certificate. - only 20 places are available.
