First Aid Team Leader

Can you take the lead on First Aid at our large County events?

First aid is an essential Skill for Life and is important to both our youth and adult members. We're looking for someone to lead our First Aid Team and provide high quality first aid cover at our large County events.

Who Are We?

Durham Scouts offers an adventurous, vibrant and busy programme for more than 6,000 young people aged 4-25 and exciting opportunities for more than 1,400 adults volunteers. Every year, we organise several high profile events - everything from adventurous outdoor competitions to mini-festivals - which attract up to 1300 people.

Who Are You?

We’re looking for someone with management skills who can provide leadership, support, motivation and inspiration to volunteers. As First Aid Team Leader you will take the lead in first aid standards in the county, ensuring that all of our first aid activities are based on up-to-date good practices.


You would be supported by and will manage the County First Aid Team (Scout Active Support Unit) who provide hands-on support for large county events.
