Support our Adventures!

We've got several volunteer vacancies across Durham Scouts - see current vacancies below.

Team Leader Vacancies

You will know that we have recently looked to recruit our new Team Leaders to head up the 3 key teams in the County – Volunteer Development, Programme and Support.   We have had a number of applications and are thrilled to announce that we have been able to appoint Kerry Harris into the role of Team Leader – County Volunteer Development Team. Kerry is a former Group Scout Leader and has been in scouting for just over 12 years.

Sadly from those application we have not found the right people to Lead the Support and Programme teams.   So we are reopening the recruitment process in the search for individuals to make a real impact on the lives of our Adult Volunteers in our County through building, nurturing and leading a team to deliver our shared vision.

Perhaps you were unsure to apply before, concerned that you might not have the right experience, that roles had already been decided..   Think again and consider if not now, then when, if not you, then who else.   Below links to the recruitment pack….  We are looking forward to hearing from you.

Closing date for expressions of interest is Midnight April 22nd 2024
